The Complex Trait Genomics Initiative was funded by UQ to foster collaboration between complex genetic trait researchers from Institute for Molecular Bioscience, Queensland Brain Institute, School of Biomedical Science, UQ Diamantina Institute, Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation.
The first annual symposium, being held on Friday 9th September, will include presentations from across all research groups with presentations from key initiative personnel; Prof Peter Visscher, Prof David Evans, Prof Mark Blows, Dr Joseph Powell with a Plenary by Prof Mike Goddard Professorial Fellow in Animal Genetics, University of Melbourne.
The symposium is open to all Brisbane-based complex trait researchers.
There is no cost to attend the event, however RSVP is essential for catering.
